Thank you very much for renting us your flat in La Barrosa.  We really enjoyed our week in La Barrosa.  The weather was good for most of the week, some days there was rain, others were beautiful and we spent some great afternoons on the beach.  The resort is quiet and felt much more like real Spain, which is just what we wanted, and well placed for visiting all the local sights.
 

The apartment is lovely - just as described on your website, very clean and comfortable.  Uli was very helpful when we arrived and showed us all we needed to know.

Thanks for your welcome home email. What can I say, first of all thank you for fitting us in at short notice, we would have missed such a treat.

The apartment was lovely and so quiet, our first visit to this part of Spain but it certainly will not be the last. After spending the first week of our holiday in a lovely little place called Cabopino on the Costa del Sol, we drove on the coastal Road which had spectacular views and scenery to La Barrosa. 

As the Costa Del Sol was quiet hectic and very English this part of our holiday was quite a contrast. We took your advice and tried the restaurant at the end of the promenade  (I have forgotten the name apart from Don) As the food and service was so good and they were such a nice couple we ate there several times.

We cannot believe that in the middle of October we were in the Atlantic sea swimming. We enjoyed seeing the real Spain and managed to visit the wonderful city of Cadiz and also Jerez, we have saved Seville for our next visit.

Uli was very helpful and was certainly on time for our meeting. We did run out of gas and after our phone call it was soon replaced.

Thank you again for a wonderful holiday and we have passed on your website to several friends.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the use of your apartment last week. All the family really enjoyed the area, we really had a good exploration of the beautiful region, amongst others, we visited Jerez, La Ballena and down to Zahara, and always spent time on one of the wonderful beaches in the area every afternoon/evening (we became quite Spanish in our approach to going to the beach). We all agreed that the beach at La Barossa was  one, if not the best family beaches we have been to in Spain.

Your apartment is lovely, well kept and nicely furnished, and so peaceful. The smell of the pines and the birdsong in the morning was really refreshing. We all had a great week. I would happily recommend your apartment and the region.

We very much enjoyed the holiday. The apartment suited our needs exactly, was very comfortable providing a nice cool retreat from the hot weather when we needed it! was very spacious for the two of us.

One particular point of difference compared to other places I have stayed, is that the apartment had a very 'homely' feel to it.

We had a fabulous time staying in La Barossa at your one bedroom apartment.  We flipped a coin for the bed and I ended up with the sofa bed, which was extremely comfortable, so no grumbles from me!

Uli was incredibly helpful and even met us in her car nearby so we could follow her to the apartment. We discovered the walk to the beach, but generally preferred to drive and park (for free) at the beach, walking down to the promenade in the evening when it was a little cooler! The beach is amazing, very clean and the water lovely to swim in. We did venture off to Cadiz for the day and also Conil.

The apartment is well situated, it feels in a very safe area, so we weren't afraid to walk back from town quite late in the evening. We mostly ate in, preferring to cook, then head out for a bottle of wine by the sea, but we did eat out the last night at the glass restaurant on the seafront, which does amazing seafood and delicious local sardines! (can't remember the name of it!)

Everything in the apartment was well catered for right down to the beach umbrella! We would definately come back we enjoyed it so much!!!!

We had a lovely time in La Barrosa. There was a lovely view of the grassed and wooded area from the living room window and that was really nice to sit out in.  

My daughter appreciated the dvd player and brought a selection to watch and we all agreed that satellite television is not necessary when you are on holiday as long as there is a dvd player (satellite tv is now provided)

We thought you had chosen comfortable furniture and again my daughter loved the rocking chairs and the colour scheme. The blue fine curtains gave the room a nice coloured hue and made it more cosy.

We found the design of the apartment block was such that it was sufficiently cool inside without air conditioning or a fan even when it was really hot and bringing down the blinds was ideal for blocking out the sun.

I would certainly recommend La Barrosa and your apartment. Thanks for renting it to us.

We had a great time, the weather was good but cool in the evening, but with the electric fire it was no problem. The road to the beach has now been resurfaced and streetlights are in place, and when we left the power cables were being installed.

We both found the flat to be of a superior standard and would have no qualms about recommending it .

The dvd was a big bonus as at this time of the year there wasn't much open in the evening.

We had a really lovely holiday (Weather was a bit unpredictable, but not your fault!!!! it was October.!)  The apt was very comfortable and had everything we needed. 

The coastline in that part of Spain is very beautiful and the boys loved digging on the beach.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in La Barrosa.  We were fortunate to have such good weather, apart from one or two days of rain.  Despite the fact it was the end of the season, we found the larger supermarkets excellent and self catered very well.  The resort became more alive at weekends and it was nice then to have lunch in restaurants by the beach and watch the world go by.  We also appreciated having the hi-fi and DVD player, having taken quite a few of our own discs.  We didn't actually watch Spanish television!

We all enjoyed the holiday very much. Fantastic location. the beaches were superb and ever so clean. La Barrosa was a good lively town well placed for our visits to Cadiz , Jerez and Vejer de la Frontera. The restaurants were many and varied. Your instructions to the apartment were spot on. The apartment was really nice and cosy and well equipped and in a good location. We also discovered a lovely bakery nearby. I forget the name of the road but if you turn right out of the apartment car park, turn left  at the roundabout and then walk up to the next roundabout you'll find one on the right. All in all a lovely holiday. I would recommend the location and the apartment to others.

Just a quick note to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Barrosa.

We thought the beaches in La Barrosa were excellent and found the accommodation to be very nice. We particularly liked the fact that the area was not built up like most Spanish coastal resorts. We also spent a day in Cadiz which was well worth the visit.

We will most certainly recommend the area and your apartment to our friends/family.

We returned from our holiday fully refreshed and very sorry we hadn't booked a second week.

The apartment was everything and more and you had thought of everything down to the last detail. It was marvellously clean and we settled in very quickly into our temporary home.

We were very fortunate with the weather and with our hired car we enjoyed driving around the coastline and even ventured to Cadiz (Not for the faint hearted!!)

The children greatly enjoyed the beach and towards the end of the week this was the only place we visited.

Don Angelos was wonderful and he made us very very welcome in his restaurant, just as you said he would. And with the massive choice of  restaurants and cafes we came home a few pounds heavier too.

The apartment was fine, and well located for everything as you said, and we were very comfortable there.  The weather was kind to us-- not too hot and no rain during the day.  It was good to be so near to the park, and to walk/jog there early morning.

Dear Zoe,

Thank you for your email of yesterday.  We did enjoy ourselves very much, we found the Costa de la Luz a very nice place to be, and our holiday was partly to get a feel for the place as we hope to buy down there shortly.

The apartment was very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed, we were quite impressed, and at that time of year was very quiet too.

Felt compelled to write to compliment you on the presentation of your property and the good taste expressed -  you certainly deserve to succeed. Unfortunately the Costa de la Luz will not be for us despite the beautiful location and coastline - too cold in winter. It was many degrees warmer as we drove northwards back towards Alicante

We found the apartment perfect for our needs , not that we spent much time in it as the weather was fantastic and most days were spent at the superb beach and pool facilities of the Hotel Playa Barrosa .

 Driving from Jerez was an easy 55 minutes and once I got my bearings in La Barrosa, finding our way about was no problem .  The cleanliness of your apartment and the surrounding development is excellent, as is the entire area of La Barrosa and Sancti Petri .

While we were there we took the 90 minute drive to Gibraltar and also drove the 20 kilometres to Cadiz . Didn't get time to visit Seville but we'll save that for our next visit to La Barrosa!  I even managed to slip off for 18 holes of golf at Novo Sancti Petri which was first class .
 

Thanks again for the opportunity to rent your apartment, we'll certainly be holidaying there again in the very near future .

We would like to thank you for the loan of your apartment and also to let you know how much we enjoyed our week in La Barrosa. We spent the first week of our holiday in Los Boliches on the Costa del Sol. This was a nostalgic visit for us since this was where we spent several holidays with our sons' when they were young and this was the first time we had returned for approx. 14 years. Needless to say it had changed considerably. We don't think we need to say how refreshing it was once we started our journey to the Costa de la Luz driving past Gibraltar and up beyond Tarifa. We enjoyed the journey immensely. We had for some time been wanting to visit the Costa de la Luz and it exceeded all that we had read about it. We had a wonderful time visiting different coastal resorts and inland towns and villages. I think we have now been all along the different 'Costas' in Spain and we feel the Costa de la Luz far exceeds them all. We hope to return soon.

Your apartment certainly added to our pleasure. It is well kept and cared for. The information on the apartment and travel directions you sent to us were excellent. We did notice there was only one gas bottle in the apartment when we arrived and we wondered how we would go about replacing it should it run out. The next morning we spoke to your Agent who was extremely helpful and within no time at all a replacement bottle was delivered.
